Vanila ice cream

Ingredients:

Milk 3 cups
Sugar 5 tbsp
Cornflour 1 tbsp
Chinagrass(instant vanila flavour) 1 tbsp
Fresh cream 1/2 cup
Vanila essance drops 5

How to make vanila ice cream:

Take 2 3/4 cup of milk in a pan add sugar and keep boiling.
Add chinagrass and cornflour in cold 1/4 cup of milk and mix well.
Add in hot milk stir and cook on low flame(cook untill thick).
Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Add vanila essence and fresh cream.mix in mixture.
Pour the mixture in aluminium tin and keep to set in refrigerator.
When it will half set again mix in mixture and keep in refrigerator to set.

Mushroom masala

Ingredients:

Mushroom 200 gms
Onion 2
Tomato 1
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste1 tsp
Oil 2 tsp
Coriander leaves
Salt

How to make mushroom masala:

Chop mushrooms,onions and tomatoes in slices.
In a pan heat oil and fry onions till transperent.
Then add tomatoes anf fry again till cook.
Now add mushroom slices and fry.
Add chilly powder,turmeric powder,jeera powder,ginger garlic paste and salt.
Sprinkle little water and cover the pan to cook for 4-5 min on low flame.
Mushroom masala is ready garnish with coriander leaves and serve with roti.

Choco burfi

Ingredients:

Drinking chocolate 4 tbsp
Milk 1/2 cup
Sugar 2 cups
Kaju pieces 1 tbsp
Sugar powder 1/4 cup
Ghee 1 tsp
Elaichi powder 1 tsp

How to make choco burfi:

Mix all ingredients in a pan (except sugar powder).
Keep on a gas and allow to cook on low flame.
When batter becomes thicky remove from the heat.
Mix finely then add sugar powder and mix again.
Pour on greased vessel and flat it with the help of roll pin.
Allow to cool.
Cut into pieces.

Coconut dosa

Ingredients:

Rice 2 cups
Grated coconut 1 cup
Salt
Oil
How to make coconut dosa:

Soak rice in water for 5-6 hours.
Drain it. mix grated coconut and salt.
Grind in a mixture using enough water.
Place tava on a flame and greased it with little oil.
Pour the batter and cover the tava on low flame.
After 2 min remove the cover and turn the dosa.
Again cook for 2 min and remove from the heat.
Coconut dosa is ready.
Enjoy with green chutney.

Rasam

Ingredients:

Tomato 6
Grated coconut 1/2 cup
Red chilly 2
Mustard seeds 1/4tsp
Cumin seeds 1/4tsp
Coriander seeds 1/2 tsp
Methi seeds 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Hing 1/4 tsp
Kadipatta 6-8
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt

How to make rasam:

Boil 2 cups of water and add tomatoes for a min.
Remove tomato skin and keep aside.
In a kadai take 1 tsp of oil and roast red chilly,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,coriander seeds,methi seeds,turmeric powder,hing and kadipatta.
In a mixer grind above roasted masala with coconut.
Now add tomatoes and grind again.
In a kadai heat oil and give tadka ( mustard seeds,cumin seeds and kadipatta).
Pour all grind ingredients.
Boil for 8-10 min and serve hot with rice.

Palak raita

Ingredients:

Palak 1 bunch
Curd 1 cup
Khajoor 1 cup
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt
How to make palak raita:

Chop palak finely.
Cut khajoor in small pieces.
Mix all ingredients finely.
Palak raita is ready.

Dum Aaloo

Ingredients:

Baby potatoes 1/2 kg
Curds 1 cup
Red chilly powder 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Dhania powder 1 tsp
Amchur powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Coriander leaves 1 cup
Tejpatta 2
Oil 3 tbsp
Salt
How to make dum aaloo:

Boil potatoes, peel and prick it all over with the help of fork.
In a bowl take curd and add all masala powders and salt.
Mix well and apply to potatoes.
Marinate the potatoes for atleast 1 hour.
After 1 hour heat oil in kadai and add potatoes.
Fry it for 2-3 min then add 1 cup of water.
Cover and cook till the fat leaves the masala.
Again cook for 2-3 min on low flame.
Dum aaloo is ready.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

Chakli

Ingredients:

Wheat flour 2 cups
Jawar flour 1 cup
Besan 2 cups
Sesame 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
Red chilly powder 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Curd 2 cups
Ajwain 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Salt
Oil

How to make chakli:

In a bowl take wheat flour,jawar flour,besan,fried sesame,ginger garlic paste,red chilly powder,turmeric powder,ajwain,sugar and salt.
Then add 2 tbsp hot oil and mix finely.
Add curd and knead dough.use water if necessary.
In kadai take oil and heat on low flame..
Make chaklis with the help of chakli patra (vessel) and deep fry on low flame till golden brown.

Sabudana kheer

Ingredients:

Sabudana 1/2 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Milk 3 cups
Elaichi powder 1 tsp

How to make sabudana kheer:

Clean and wash sabudana.
Soak sabudana in 2-3 cups of water for 30 min.
After 30 min.add milk in sabudana mixture and keep to boil.
Cook on low flame till sabudana is cooked and turns soft.
Now add sugar and again cook till sugar dissolves.
Lastly add elaichi powder and remove from the heat.
Sabudana kheer is ready.

Samosa

Ingredients:

Potato 5-6
Green peas 1 cup
Onion 2
Dhania jeera powder 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Maida 250 gms
Kadipatta leaves 4-5
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Coriander leaves
Oil
Salt

How to make samosa:

Boil potatoes and green peas.
Chop onion and coriander leaves.
Heat 2-3 tbsp oil and mix in maida and make smooth dough adding salt and warm water.
Keep aside for 30 min.
In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. when they started to crackle add onion and kadipatta and fry for 2-3 min.

Now add ginger garlic paste and again fry for 2-3 min.
Add dhania jeera powder,turmeric powder and salt.
Lastly add mashed potatoes,boiled green peas and coriander leaves.
Mix well and keep aside to cool.
Now take dough and make lemon size balls and roll out them in oval shape chapatis.
Make 2 pieces of each chapatis.
Make the cones of each piece. fill each cone with potato sabji.
Seal the edges using little water.
In a kadai heat oil and deep fry samosas on low flame till golden.
Samosa is ready. Enjoy with tomato ketchup.
