Ingredients:
Spinach 2 bunch
Potatoes 4-5
Green chilly 2-3
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Kasoori methi 1/4 tsp
Whole red chillies 4-5
Ginger 2″
Sugar 1 tsp
Ghee 1/2 cup
Salt
How to make Aaloo Palak:
Washed and chopped palak finely.
Boiled potatoes, peeled and chopped.
Heat the ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, whole red chillies .
Add the ginger, green chilly pieces and saute it till light brown.
Now add potato pieces and fry on high flame till brown.
Add chopped spinach,salt and sugar and mix well.
Allow to cook over high flame till the spinach is tender and excess water has dried.
Aloo Palak is ready.
Serve with roti or chapati.

Ingredients
Mutton bones 200 gms
Onions 1
Tomato 1
Cloves 6-8
Cinnamon 2″
Whole Peppercorns 10-15
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Mint leaves 6-8
Butter 2 tsp
Salt
How to make Mutton Soup:
Chop onions,tomatoes,mint and coriander leaves.
Clean and wash bones and put in pressure cooker with all ingredients except butter,pepper powder and half portion of onions and coriander leaves.
Cook upto 7-8 whistles.
Allow to cool.
Now heat butter in a pan and saute onions for 2-3 min.
Now pour cooked bones mixture.
Add pepper powder and bring to boil.
Mutton soup is ready.
Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Ingredients:
Lapsi (dalia) 100 gm
Sugar 100 gm
Ghee 4-5 tbsp
Elaichi powder 1 tsp
Kaju-kismis 2 tsp
Milk 1 cup
Water 1 cup
Salt 1/4 tsp
How to make Lapsi:
In a pan mix water and milk and put to boil.
In a kadai heat ghee and fry dalia(lapsi) on low flame till golden brown.
Add salt, boiled milk and water.
Allow to cook dalia on low flame.
Dalia takes some time to cook.
Add hot water or milk if necessary.
Now add sugar,elaichi powder and kaju kismis.
Cover the pan and cook on low flame for 2-3 min.
Lapsi is ready.
Serve hot with tea.

Ingredients:
Mangoes 4
Coconut 2 cups
Jeera 1 tsp
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Red chilly powder 2 tsp
Black peppercorns 8
Jaggery 1/2 cup
Tamarind pulp 1-2 tsp
Oil 1 tsp
Salt
How to make Mango Sasav:
Wash,peel and cube mangoes.
Dry roast 1/2 tsp mustard seeds in a pan till they crackle.
Add to the coconut and grind fine paste along with jeera,turmeric powder,red chilly powder and peppercorns.
Heat oil and add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and allow to crackle.
Now pour the grind paste.
Add jaggery,tamarind pulp,salt,mango pieces and 1 cup of water.
Bring to a boil and simmer till all the water dries out.
Add more jaggery if necessary.
Serve hot with rice.

Ingredients:
Curd 2 cups
Chilled water 6-7 cups
Jeera powder 2 tsp
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Pudina leaves 4-5
Green chilli 2-3
Ginger 1/2″
Black pepper 5-6
Black Salt 2 tsp
Salt
How to make Masala Chaas:
In a blender take all ingredients except curd and water.
Blend till all ingredients mixes finely.
Now add curd and blend again for 2-3 min.
Add chilled water and mix well.
Serve in tall glasses with fresh mint leaves.

Ingredients:
Uncooked rice 1 cup
Onion 2
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Capsicum 1
Tomato puree 1 tbsp
Curds 4 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Salt
How to make Tava Rice:
Cook the rice in cooker as usual.
Heat the oil in a tava and fry the chopped onions for a minute.
Add capsicum slices,tomato puree and salt.
Fry for 2-3 min.
Now add red chilly powder and turmeric powder.
Fry again for a minute on low flame.
Now add curds and mix well.
Lastly add the cooked rice.
Cover the pan and cook again for 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
