Sambar Masala Powder
Ingredients:
Red chilly(whole) 1 cup
Chana dal 1/2 tbsp
Urad dal 1/4 tbsp
Coriander seeds 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp
Methi seeds 1/4 tbsp
Pepper corns 1/4 tbsp
Asafoetida 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Cloves 10
Cinnamon sticks 4
Oil 1 tsp
How to make Sambar Masala Powder:
Fry mustard seeds and asafoetida in little oil.
Fry other remaining ingredients one by one.
Mix all and make a fine powder.
Store in a air tight container.
Sambar masala powder is ready to use for dosa and idli.
