Aloo Matar

Green peas 1/2 kg
Potatoes 4
Tomatoes 2-3
Onions 4
Ginger 2 inch
Garlic 4-5 cloves
Red chilly powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Jeera powder 1 tsp
Garam masala powder 1 tsp
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp
Tejpatta 2
Elaichi 2
Oil 2 tbsp


How to make Aloo Matar:

Cut potatoes and peel green peas.

Cook in pressure cooker. give 2 whistles.

Grind ginger,garlic and one onion.

Cut 3 onions and tomatoes in slices.

In a pan heat oil. add tejpatta and elaichi.

Then add onion slices and fry till brown.

Add tomato slices and again fry till tomato cook finely.

Now add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, jeera powder,garam masala powder and salt.

Fry 2 min.

Now add grind masala and fry on low flame till oil separates.

Lastly add cooked potato and green peas.

Boil for 4-5 min.

Garnish with coriander leaves.

Aloo matar is ready.
